The PES Tools software distribution contains the Build-Manifest and XML-Decorator software tools in C++20 source code and their associated CMAKE build files. The GNU software toolset is used here for development though any modern C++ toolset should work (certainly MS Windows). As MS Windows file names are case-insensitive while Linux file names are case-sensitive, it is easiest to just use file names that will work on any platform. There should not be a problem cross-compiling and building as a result. This seems to be standard practice already.

build-manifest A program to either create or update the file-template manifest file (XML) which is later used by the XML-Decorator.
xml-decorator Using the XML library index file create by build-manifest, these source-code library files are modified by inserting the data items in the XML Application Definition File.
